Nothing like making the old-fashioned last-minute Mother’s Day card by hand.

Though it might not top last year’s model, I only had about an hour and a half to get this one done, so I’m okay with the results. The most important thing: She laughed, and it’s now framed, soon to be on the wall alongside with a couple of decade’s worth of its predecessors.

I’d made a conscious decision not to inter-tweet-post anything about bin Laden, but I had to post this cover, if for no reason than I like the graphic, and Time’s ‘X’ covers are amusing to me. Here’s another one to add to your collection…
